biography

ioan bejenaru received his ph.d. in mathematics from uc berkeley in 2003. since then he hold the following positions: hedrick assistant professor at ucla from 2004-2007, assistant professor at texas a&m from 2007-2008 and assistant professor at university of chicago from 2008-2012. he joined ucsd in 2012.

bejenaru's research interests are in the field of nonlinear partial differential equations and harmonic analysis.

his research covers a variety of topics: nonlinear schroedinger equations, systems of dispersive equations, geometric partial differential equations and stability of solitons.
